| Mark
A. Hunt, the eldest of five children, comes
from a working class family. From the time he
was a young child, Mark's family instilled in
him the values of honesty, integrity, respect,
and personal responsibility, as well as the
honor of public service. He attended Lincoln
Junior High School and Stonewall Jackson High
School, where he was active in sports and
excelled at academics, graduating in 1978.
Mark obtained his B.A. from the University of
Charleston in 1982 and an M.A. from Marshall
University in 1984. Thereafter, he worked as a
Legislative Analyst for the West Virginia
Office of Legislative Services for six years,
prior to attending law school. Upon completion
of his law degree at the District of Columbia
School of Law in 1993, Mark served as Counsel
to the West Virginia State Auditor before
co-founding Hunt and Serreno in 1994. Mark now practices law under Mark A. Hunt & Associates. Also in
1994, Mark was elected to the West Virginia
House of Delegates, representing Charleston,
where he served for ten years. As a
legislator, Mark gained a reputation for, being tough on crime and supportive of
educational initiatives.
Mark
is married to the former Tracy Conard and is
the father of three children; Andrew
(1998-1999), Mark (Jr)
and Jackie.
Mark's
main areas of legal practice are auto accidents,
personal injury, defective products, and
other civil litigation "plaintiff". |
